Chateau De Santenay Mercurey Les Bois De Lalier

The Chateau de Santenay can trace its history all the way back to the rule of the Dukes of Burgundy in the middle ages. The estate today consists of 95 hectares of vineyards planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir spread over the Cote Chalonnaise Caute de Beaune and Cote de Nuits. At the chateau we endeavor to express the terroir of these diverse vineyards in each individual wine we produce. Our ethos is also to farm responsibility to encourage a maximum biodiversity and to protect the environment and our fellow human beings.
