Our single Vineyard collection is inspired by the Herzog family's ongoing commitment to sourcing and prospecting new vineyards. With innovation and creativity, we are able to explore the intricacies of terroir and the uniqueness of time and place in the vineyard. For us, this is hands-on, artisan winemaking at its best. Knights Valley is a narrow, high-elevation region on the easern edge of Sonoma County. Ocean breezes filter in from the west, bringing a noticeable cooling effect. Despite this, Knights Valley expriences warm days and cool nights, making it the warmest AVA in Sonoma County. Much of the valley is characterized by soils rich in volcanic ash and Clay.
