Aberlour of generous nature since 1879 It was on the green banks of the Lour and the Spey that James Fleming set up his distillery in 1879. their pure water is one of the essential ingredients of Aberlour single malts. also used for production, it is then naturally filtered on the distillery site and then returned to nature purified. As for the barley, it is harvested within a radius of 24km around the distillery. An exceptional single malt, faithful to the signature of Aberlour single malts, Aberlour 10 years forest reserve comes from a double maturation in oak barrels, having contained bourbon and sherry of which a part of the single malt is then aged in French oak barrels, thus imparting complex and perfectly balanced flavors.
